Bio

Ann Winkle is a graduate from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with certification to teach elementary and high school students and adults. She is also a graduate of the JST Coaching School and the Fast Track Coach Academy. Ann is a professional member of the CHADD Organization (Children & Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ACO (ADHD Coaches Org.) , and the EDGE Foundation. She is also a trained and certified Suicide Prevention Services (SPS) Hotline Counselor.

Ann’s work experience includes teaching in both the public and private school systems. Most recently, Ann was employed at a private high school in the Chicago area where she used her skills to oversee the Student Special Services program. As a key team member in the Guidance Department, Ann’s compassion and effective communication skills assisted many parents in helping their child reach his/her full potential. Ann’s responsibilities and experience covered a scope of services and skills which included coordinating, writing, and updating Individual Educational Plans (IEP’s), writing and implementing 504 Educational plans for qualified students , behavior modification programs, and Grieving/ Crisis intervention. Ann’s personal gifts and coaching strengths emerged over the past 9 years and led her to further assist parents and students to implement life skills and strategies needed for anxieties, organization, time management, prioritization, and follow through accountability.

Ann’s successful work with individuals who needed personal help to overcome the challenges of ADD/ADHD, anxieties, and other life issues led her down the path of becoming the full time Life Coach she is today.

Ann enjoys tennis and volleyball, traveling to see family and friends, attending faith based activities, and reading.

Ann considers her greatest gift and accomplishment to be that of her 33 years of marriage and her motherhood. She and her husband, Dave, have lived with their family and worked in Texas, Oklahoma, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. They currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, and are active members of St. Therese Parish in Mooresville, NC.
